Substitute Teacher Pay Rates
Substitute teacher pay rates are as follows:
Elementary Assignments:
Daily rate: $185/$200*
Junior High Assignments:
Daily rate: $200/$215*
All assignments 30 days or more will be paid at Step 1, Column 1 of the Certificated Teacher Salary rate ($296).
*Long Term Assignments
When an assignment is 10 consecutive days or more, the substitute teacher will receive $200.00 per day- Elementary Schools, $215.00 per day- Junior High Schools, retroactive to the first day of the assignment.
After 30 days of service in the District in a single school year, a substitute teacher will receive a $250 dollar bonus.
After 90 days of service in the District in a single school year, a substitute teacher will receive a $500 dollar bonus.
After 120 days of service in the District in a single school year, a substitute teacher will receive a $500 dollar bonus.
